Every four years since 1894, nations around the globe have gathered for a few weeks of sheer competition, pure national pride and true dedication. This time, China will host the 2008 Summer Olympics, coming out with several massive and glorious state-of-the-art stadiums. With over 200 countries participating, 302 events being aired across the world, and over 10,000 athletes representing their homelands, this will surely be an Olympiad to remember.

And as such, in honor of the Olympics, BittyBay will be hosting a variety of competitions and events with amazingly special prizes. To start us off, the first competition will be Represent! What you need to do is draw your favorite BittyBay animal participating in an Olympic sport, representing your native country (where you're from), favorite country (who you want to win) or home country (where you live in). Pick one animal, one country only!

Send your entries into submissions@bittybay.com with the subject line: "Represent!" by Friday, August 15th, 2008. Winners will receive 250B and a gold medal (which will never be released) and every other entry will receive 50B for dedication and effort.

So even though the Olympics thrive on the spirit of competition, they're more than just about winning - they celebrate the human spirit and bring countries together in international harmony amidst politics and rivalries. So get into the spirit and go for the gold!
