On behalf of the BittyBay staff, have a wonderful Earth Day 2009! Plant a tree, recycle, conserve water, do something to help your planet. Whether it be with friends or family or even alone, this shouldn't be the only day for you to go green. But whatever you choose to do, help Earth all year!

And there are plenty of ways to save the planet, all you have to is look up some tips and bingo! Here are just a few that I've discovered myself:

Earth Day Tips:

1. Reuse your water bottle.

2. Turn off lights and electronics when you leave the room. Unplug your cell phone charger from the wall when not using it. Turn off energy strips and surge protectors when not in use (especially overnight).

3. Recycle your newspapers.

4. Walk, jog, or run.

5. Ride a bike.

6. Bring your own bags to the grocery store. Given a choice between plastic and paper, opt for paper.
