Who remembers that wee little article that had this mega prize of 325 Bits, a Flytrap and any prize of the winner's choice? I do! And as the cute representative of BittyBay, I am proud to announce that we have a winner: BookBabe111! She came up this grand ol' idea of having a competition between gophers and the rest of the citizens of BittyBay! Take a look here:

Those pesky vermin, known as the gophers, are tired of being clicked on all day! They're SO angry, in fact, that they've challenged Bittybay to a beach volleyball tournament! Here's a letter of complaint from our beloved gopher mayor:
Dear Bittybay,
On behalf of the gopher community, I have to say that we are sick and tired of being clicked on! How would you like it if WE were the ones bothering YOU all day? All we want to do is destroy your beautiful grass and make holes in your lawn! That's not so bad, is it?
Well, as mayor of the gophers, I would like to challenge you animals to a beach volleyball tournament! That is, if you people even know HOW to play. We gophers have been beach volleyball champions for the past 362 years! If you think you've got what it takes to beat us, we'll be waiting for you. You know where to find us!
All giggling and excitement aside, we loved her idea so much that we decided to warp it a little. BookBabe111 still gets all the credit and prizes for her fab idea, but also recognition for the invention of a whole new mini-game.
Introducing Gopher Round-Up! The idea is every user is split into two teams (ex. pandas vs. elephants, etc.) and both sides face off to catch the most gophers! The team that catches the most will be proclaimed the victors! The prize is 2 Bits per teammate, but fret not, as that is subject to change in the future in order to best reward every animal for being top-notch in this challenge.
You may notice that there is no actual room for the game on the GeoPoint. No matter where you are, an alert will poof onto your screen and signal you to type "/play" and press 'Enter.' If you are one of the first, you'll be transported to play immediately; if not, you will be waiting in line until it's your turn. For now, the game will ONLY be open for public testing for one day: July 2nd-July 3rd, 2008.
Scurry on BittyBay for your chance to rope those darn gophers in! It's your chance to show off your gopher catching talents and look stylish in cowboy/girl fashion too. Gotta catch 'em all!
