Hiya, guys!
After reading some of your comments on vBitty’s Forum, I thought I’d address some of the concerns raised regarding the status of Release 3, and the impending Release 4.
Obviously, some of you have noticed the lack of community activity over the last few weeks. Following the Valentine’s campaign, we thought it would be best to ease up on the majority of Release 3 campaigns and competitions in order to give Release 4 our full attention. The Valentine’s campaign, although a lot of fun, did not draw in enough people to make the time that goes into planning and implementing a campaign worthwhile.
I would just like to reassure everybody that steady progress is being made on R4. Below, you can find a preview of just some of the features available in the new release. We have not given up on BittyBay, nor, I hope, have you!
I know some of you are worried about the state of the current client, but don’t fret! It is a necessary sacrifice in order to produce the high-quality Release 4 that you’re all expecting. Every moment we worry about Release 3 is a moment taken away from the exciting work going on behind the scenes.
All we can ask is that you have a little faith, and be patient. Release 4 will be out this year, guaranteed. I would just like to say a big thank you to everybody who has stuck by us during these busy and exciting times. Please, stick around for a little while longer – I really think you’re going to love the results! Your dedication is worth it.

3 – 4 years is kind of insulting though, :/.
‘Insulting’ is a little strong! At the end of the day, we are all working voluntarily to produce something worthwhile. If it takes time, it takes time! Rome wasn’t built in a day, Naythan! I would like, however, to apologise to you personally if you feel insulted by the duration of Release 4′s production. I hope to see you at R4′s grand opening. I will try and make it up to you!

Ha ha, finally there’s some posts, there hasn’t any posts for almost months! Anyways, R4 look awesome! I can still wait, i’m looking forward to R4.

@Naythan We’re hoping to increase that frequency in the coming weeks, stick with us, it will all be worth it in the end!

I don’t visit Bittybay as often as I used to do but it is great to view the site and see a new R4 screen. It look’s fantastic. The interface looks fantastic and the public spaces how we see them now and in the video from a year (or 2, lol) ago they look great. And when I read ‘will come this year’ I made a little happy dance. I can’t wait for R4 and I know it will be fantastic and hopefully Bittybay will grow because of it. Goodluck developing/designing/coding the features and hope to see more soon (: (maybe a screen of one of the public rooms like the one with the tree? ^^)
I haven’t really been on bittybay but i wish it luck! and im sure if you had the events coordinators do their jobs, because they dont pitch in on the advancement of R4.. then you’d keep attention.. but once R4 is out, i hope you put up ads around the web again, thats how i found you and why i think the summer of ’08 was the best there was!! :] im always still up for the job to help out ;)
I can’t wait for Release 4. I can imagine it being a burst of nostalgia and excitement to see something new. I also imagine all of the friends I used to talk to so much returning with a bunch of new people to meet! It’ll just be like back when I was a little rabbit. /sigh
Oh My God! You cannot believe how happy I am after reading this article :D I have never given up hope for BittyBay R4! I will be here waiting patiently for the release no matter how long it takes ^_^ GOOD LUCK STAFF AND GREAT JOB! LOVE THE PREVIEW! LOVE IT!!

I did a lot of research on the release 4 and well is there a specific time at all that it’s coming because how can we be there for the opening if we don’t know the time
this is taking faaar too long. at least put some events up while we’re waiting for R4 no? and the prizes for the events should be the silver or gold tickets C: .. if you get what i mean (; but the graphics look really nice. well done!
