What is BittyBay?

BittyBay is a safe online, virtual, multiplayer animal kingdom for kids where you can meet new friends, play games, collect items and avatars, create your own personal space and more! BittyBay is moderated by trained staff throughout the day and is a safe online hangout for kids and teens.

Why am I a bunny?

In BittyBay, all users are represented as animals. When you first start playing, your avatar is a bunny. You can earn other avatars through events and competitions, or you can buy them. Members of the Kingdom Royale get special exclusive avatars each month for the duration of their subscription.

What are Bits?

Bit(s) is the term used for BittyBay's in-game currency. Bits are used to purchase special extras within the game such as decorative items for your private rooms/territories, gaming items (Such as "Digging Spades"), tickets for events, exclusive avatars and more. What is Kingdom Royale?

Kingdom Royale is the name of the membership club in BittyBay. As a member, you get many benefits such as exclusive access to member-only rooms, free monthly gifts, a special member's badge/icon, and much more!

How do I become a Kingdom Royale member?

To purchase membership, click the settings icon that's located in the main in-game menu. Under the "Appearance" tab, there is a section labelled "Membership". Here you can view your membership details and purchase or extend your membership subscription. Simply click "buy" to purchase; that's it!

How do I view a user's profile/status?

To view more information about a user, simply hold the "Shift" button on your keyboard and left-click the person in question. If done correctly, a panel should pop up showing the user's details; this panel also equips you with the means to interact with that user.

How do I get more avatars?

When you register, you are given a free avatar in the form of a rabbit. You can collect other avatars by participating in competitions, purchasing them through certain shops within the game, or by becoming an official member of BittyBay (Members get an exclusive avatar each month their subscription is active).

How do I change my avatar?

You can change your avatar via the in-game settings panel. Click the settings button that is located within the in-game menu. Under the "Appearance" section, there is a selection box where you can scroll through your avatar collection until you find the avatar you wish to switch to. Position the avatar you want to change to under the golden arrow and click "Apply". You should now be sporting your new avatar! :)

What are the blue, green and red "buttons" on the chatbar?

These are not buttons, they are actually lights. Each will flash for a different purpose. The blue flashes when you receive a private message, the green flashes when someone wants to be your friend, and the red flashes when you're in trouble or the moderators/admins require your attention.

How do I play games?

BittyBay does not currently contain permanent games. This is a feature we are working on in our next release. We do, however, host various events throughout the year. You can check the events timetable on our Community Homepage. Other BittyBay users will also create various games and competitions, so you may wish to check some active territories if you are looking for some games. BittyBay does have a built in game called Gopher Round Up which you can access by typing "/play" inside the Bunny Botanic, although this game is not a permanent addition and will not always be active.

What are BittyBay Moderators?

BittyBay moderators are trained professionals that are responsible for maintaining top-notch safety around the kingdom. Moderators are equipped with tools that help them maintain the community to ensure that everyone is having a great time whilst being safe. Primarily, moderators are there for any emergencies or problems you may encounter throughout the kingdom. However, if time permits, feel free to have a chat with one!

What is the "OMS"?

The OMS - Offence Management System - is your primary source of communication between you and the BittyBay moderators. The OMS should be used for emergencies and emergencies only! If you see anyone breaking the Code of Conduct, we urge you to let us know via the OMS so an on-duty moderator can handle the situation.

Help! I have an emergency, but I don't know how to contact a moderator!

Don't fret! There's a very simple way to contact moderators. Look for the blue "H" in the top right corner of your screen. By clicking this and inserting your emergency, a moderator should get back to you in no time! The "H", also known as the OMS, will follow you around in the same spot everywhere you go throughout the kingdom; that way, you'll always be able to contact a moderator for emergency assistance.

I've sent in my emergency, but I haven't seen a moderator yet; what gives?

Sometimes, depending on your emergency, moderators won't have to report to the room you're in to investigate every single call. Moderators can do a lot of things remotely; that way, you can continue your expedition throughout the kingdom, and moderators can move on to the next call after they deal with yours. If a moderator does appear in your room, it's most likely because the moderator would like to know more information in regards to your emergency.

What's considered an emergency, though?

That's simple; an emergency is classified as a situation which could directly or indirectly cause harm to a user or a number of users. For a more general explanation, our emergencies should be relevant to the following categories: harassment, vulgarity, fraud, disruption, scamming, hate speech, personal identifying information, sexually explicit content, and the discussion or act of illegal activity. If you witness any of the above being performed by anyone in the kingdom, please let us know immediately. Our top priority is your safety and enjoyment. If you are still confused about what to consider an emergency, send it through to the OMS anyway. It's better to be safe, than sorry!

I sent an OMS call two hours ago and I got no response! Why?

Moderators are trained to acknowledge every single call they receive. Before you get upset, it's imperative that you remember that moderators pick up a lot of calls whilst on duty, so you're not the only animal that could possibly be in distress! If you have sent a call, and have received no response, wait a few minutes before sending another one. If you still receive no reply or response, use the Contact Us form on the Help page and explain what your emergency was, as well as your call not being replied to. Someone from the Customer Support department or management department should reply to your email in 24-48 hours.

A moderator is telling me that they can't help me with my issue, why is this?

Moderators primarily deal with in-client issues. Moderators are not equipped with tools that help identify credit issues or help determine false trading. Therefore, moderators will urge you to use the Contact Us option on our website, so that customer support can look into the situation further. Moderators are there to monitor verbal activity mostly; if nothing happened verbally, it's best to use the Contact Us form for the most sufficient help.

In order to sustain a safe and friendly environment within BittyBay, we have a straight-forward Code of Conduct that all users must abide by. We reserve the right to remove you from our service at any time and for any reason. Within BittyBay, you should not:
